Wealth Starts Within…
Wallace Wattles has written an excellent book, The Science of Getting Rich. In this book he simplifies principles of manifestation into what he calls the Science of Getting Rich. The laws or rules of attainment are laid out and the method is exposed. The book is sufficient in itself to lead the reader to a more abundant life but there are other teachings that once learned may give his book greater depth. The teachings of Baron Eugene Fersen are said to have influenced Wattles teaching and by reading Fersen’s Science of Being one may gain a greater understanding of ‘the thinking stuff from which all things are made’ that Wattles references.
The teaching that Wattles lays forth in his Science of Getting Rich is not one of greater competition but rather one of creative generation. He does not encourage the taking of things from others or the giving of less value to those with whom we deal. He does a good job explaining that EVERYONE can be wealthy and that the best way we can help others is to become wealthy ourselves. He says that there is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which fills the interspaces of the universe and that a thought in this substance produces the thing that is imagined by the thought. Some may call this substance Universal Life Energy, Chi, or perhaps the minute realm of quantum particles that in experiments seem to be influenced by observation itself, to respond to our thoughts.
The method is fairly simple and the advice is one of focus and concentration rather then the doing of many different things. Man can form things in his thought and can impress that thought-image upon this formless substance and can cause what he thinks about to be created. It may first be created in the image of his mind’s eye. After submitting this created image to the intelligent formless substance in a creative and non-competitive manner we acknowledge our gratitude. We are grateful for what we have already received and grateful for what is now on its way into our lives. This gratitude unifies our mind with the intelligent substance and prepares us to receive. The images we form must of course be definite and clear and it is most wise to dwell upon our creation with focused concentration by spending our leisure time contemplating the vision while demonstrating unwavering faith and sincere gratitude. It is up to us to be active and aware to notice when events or circumstances lead us towards out desired creation. We must of course deal honestly are fairly with all involved providing fair value in all transactions.
The actual full method of The Science of Getting Rich is a worthwhile book to read
and if you happen to be of the mind that quite a few spiritually minded folk are, that of the belief that it is more spiritual to be poor or that being rich is wrong, then I recommend at least reading the book the see what Wallace has to say in response to that viewpoint, it is an older book and can be purchased fairly inexpensively or found online.
